Terms and Conditions

Last updated: January 2026

By using Strikethrough Text you agree to these terms. Please read them before using the site. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Use of the service

Strikethrough Text is a free tool that converts plain text into crossed out Unicode. You may use it for personal and commercial purposes, such as social media posts, messages, and documents, provided you do so lawfully and responsibly.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use the tool to harass, deceive, or harm others.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the site in ways that damage the service or other users.
  • You are responsible for the content you create and where you choose to publish it.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. While we aim for reliable results, we cannot guarantee that crossed out text will render identically on every device, app, or font, since display depends on systems outside our control.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Strikethrough Text is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or the text it produces.

Intellectual property

The site design, code, and written content are the property of Strikethrough Text. The Unicode characters the tool outputs are part of a public standard and are free for you to use.

Third party platforms

Names such as WhatsApp, Discord, Instagram, Snapchat, and X are trademarks of their respective owners. We reference them only to describe where crossed out text can be used. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last revised.
